Betting Options
Horse Racing Bet Types at tng66
tng66 offers a variety of betting formats to suit players of different experience levels — from beginners just getting started to seasoned horse racing bettors.
Win
The simplest bet — pick the horse you think will finish first. If your chosen horse wins the race, you win. Suitable for new players just starting to understand horse racing.
Place
This bet pays out if your horse finishes in the top two or three places, depending on the number of horses in the race. The chance of winning is higher, but the odds payout is lower compared to a Win bet.
Each Way
A combination of a Win and a Place bet in one wager. Even if your horse does not win, you can still receive a payout on the Place portion. This bet is popular among players who want more security.
Exacta / Forecast
Predict the horse that will finish first AND second in the correct order. More difficult, but the higher odds payout makes it appealing for players who want to study horse form closely.
Quinella / Reverse Forecast
Pick two horses to finish in the top two places in any order. This flexibility makes the Quinella easier to win than the Exacta, while still offering decent odds.
Trifecta / Trio
Predict the top three horses in the exact order. The high odds make the Trifecta one of the most sought-after bets. tng66 supports this bet type for selected races from various tracks.
Basic Tips for tng66 Players
Horse Form
Study Past Records
A horse's performance in previous races — including track surface, distance and jockey — gives a clearer picture of the true value of the odds on offer.
Odds & Value
Understand Odds Formats
tng66 displays odds in an easy-to-read format. Make sure you understand fractional, decimal or Hong Kong format odds before placing a bet.
Money Management
Set a Daily Budget
Spread your budget across several smaller bets rather than one large bet. This reduces the risk of losing all your money in a single race.
Weather & Track
Track Surface Conditions
Some horses perform better on a dry track, while others may do better on a wet track. This information is available in the race schedule.
Jockey
The Jockey's Role in Odds
An experienced jockey can give an advantage to a horse that may not be favoured. Jockey records should be factored into your analysis.
Multiple Races
Do Not Focus on One Track Only
tng66 provides races from various countries. Spreading bets across several races can improve your chances of a return.
